FAQs
How long does it take for a portrait to be completed?
Typically it takes 9-18 months. Much of this depends on the responsiveness of clients.
Do you do pet portraits?
Liz does not do pet portraits, but has some great artists she recommends. Connect with us here for a list of recommendations.
How does framing work?
Liz collaborates closely with each client to determine the most suitable framing style that complements their aesthetic preferences. Once a style is selected, Liz facilitates the next steps by either connecting clients with trusted local framers or coordinating with the client’s preferred framer. After the portrait is completed and delivered—either virtually or in person—it is sent for framing. Clients may then arrange pick-up or delivery directly with the framer upon completion.
What if I don't like the portrait when it is finished?
Liz works with each client all throughout the process to ensure satisfaction and can make touch ups at time of delivery.
Do you work with clients who live abroad?
Yes! We can talk through logistics and process during your consultation.
Can you work off of photos?
Absolutely! Liz is able to work from photos if needed, although she prefers meeting her subjects in person when possible. This allows Liz to get a sense of who they are and what personality traits can be infused into each portrait.
Do you have a shop where I can buy prints?
We will shortly— Join our Mailing List to be the first to hear once it’s live!
